2023 Spring Season - 10U and 12U Divisions
Teams are playing in the Spring Development Program (SDP). Game schedule and referee assignments are handled by Area 1C and will be posted on their website: https://www.ayso1c.org/Default.aspx?tabid=849768
In general, teams will be required to provide 2 referees for the following game when you are the home team and 1 referee when you are the visiting team.
Referee assignments will not be posted on Region 2's referee website as in the Fall season. Spring teams will need to track and manage their own referee assignments. Please check the schedule often as changes can occur up to the day before the match.
Referees - please note that there are differences between Region 2's Fall Season and Area 1C rules/procedures:
- ID cards for coaches/players are part of the team check-in process.
- Coaches and players without an ID card are not allowed to participate in the game. If a team does not have a coach with an ID card or there are not enough players with ID cards to meet the minimum number to play, then the game is forfeited.
- There are no restrictions on play time for goalkeepers.
- The minimum play time for players is half of the match.
- If, for some reason, a game is not played, referees should not participate in a scrimmage or impromptu friendly game.
- If any coach is sent off (i.e. red carded) the match is to be terminated.
- At the end of the games the center referee is responsible for game card submissions. Game card photos need to be e-mailed to "[email protected]" with the subject having the Date/Time/Field.
