The 1st Annual Clarizio Classico Indoor Torneo, hosted by AYSO Region 2, brings the speed, skill, and creativity of the beautiful game into a high-energy indoor arena where the action never stops.
This is not traditional outdoor soccer. This is fast. Technical. Electric.
The Game: Fast, Skilled, and Unpredictable
Played 6v6 inside a walled basketball gymnasium arena, this unique format transforms the way the game is played:
- Walls are in play – use them as your teammate to pass, combine, and create angles.
- No offside – more attacking, more scoring chances, more excitement.
- Rapid substitutions – nonstop action and tactical strategy.
- Short, intense halves – 9-minute running halves in pool play (12-minute halves in championship rounds).
- Golden Goal overtime in medal rounds — including thrilling 5v5, 3v3, and even 1v1 sudden-death scenarios.
Every touch matters. Every bounce off the wall can create a goal-scoring opportunity. Strong ball skills, quick decisions, and creativity are rewarded.
A True Arena Experience
This entire tournament is played inside a large, fully air-conditioned indoor gymnasium — no weather concerns, no rainouts, just pure soccer.
Enjoy comfortable spectator stands while a live camera system tracks all the action, with large video screens showing game play and standings, and a professional scoreboard with buzzer to end each half. When the buzzer sounds, play stops instantly. Every second counts. This is soccer in a spotlight.

Tournament Format & Competition Basics
6v6 format (roster limits max out at 12)
Minimum 5 guaranteed games in pool play
Top two teams in each pool advance to medal rounds
Sudden-death overtime in playoffs
Indirect restarts keep the ball moving and the tempo high
No slide tackling and no cleats (played on a wood gym floor)
This format emphasizes skill, creativity, and safe, fast-paced competition.
Awards & Recognition
Every participant receives a tournament t-shirt and a commemorative tournament pin. Champions receive an additional Special Champion t-shirt, and their team name permanently engraved on the perpetual Clarizio Classico trophy. Top teams receive medals.
